i take damaged pieces of paper at work and fold them into little sketchbooks so i can draw at lunch sometimes.





and i still have all the usual retarded boy troubles

here's something that had been inked for a while, but i finally coloured it tonight. i'm thinking about a series.



all of these were done as quick demos to teach kids about caricatures and face shapes when i was asked to be a visiting artist at a local art day for kids. it was kinda neat. i maybe plan to rework and finish these. except the sarah one. that blows.

a bad photo of my self portrait before i turned it in on friday. i should have worked on it longer, but i was afraid of overworking it...sooo yeah. it's done. i kinda like it and don't think it's terrible. i should really try and do more self portraits. i mean, i draw myself a lot, but i never really try to get it.

something in the doing

sometimes it's fun not to think and just to do. this doesn't mean anything. i could make a up a lot of meanings considering red riding hood is riddled with symbolism..but not right now.
i can't draw wolves at all, and if i really sat down and worked this is would be pretty bitchin maybe.
i drew the sketch a couple of days a go..and let it sit, and last night i just decided to get it done. and here it is.
