ooops, i never told you about C3

C3 DRAWINGS!
i wanted to do a nice little C3 recap and post pictures and whatnot...but i went out of town right after that con so it just got away from me. Besides it being a really fantastic convention I actually got some really keen work done. it felt soooo good because i've been in such a slump....outside of the convention i'm back in it..but whatevs...

my new signage! i loooove it. hopefully before fanexpo the banner with actually be embroidered like the flags.

convention sketch. the board the dude gave me didn't support watercolour at all, so i had to do it in art stix for lack of markers. i need to draw gren arrow some more, he's a hunk. i also felt like i overcharged the guy...felt kinda bad. ah well, i needed gas money!

these are my final second semester thesis projects. I forgot to scan them before leaving school, so unless you are in my class this is the first time anyone beside another Sheridan student or my family is seeing them

these were drawn with a specific double frame in mind, so that's why they're not all neatly in the same picture. george got all grey due to a horrible watercolour accident so i'm going to have to redo him at some point. not like it's going to be a chore to draw the beatles some more...

Motor City and beyond

Motor City was pretty rad. I had the post cone blues pretty bad for a while.

Met some cool dudes from Chicago...i was hoping they'd help make Michigan for tolerable for me, but sadly no...it's just one more person to visit that's not in Michigan. At least it's not super far.

so for anyone living in Michigan..I will be at the Cherry Capitol Convention June 12th and 13th. this is the convention's second year and it sounds pretty great, so I'd love to see it have a great track record. everyone should come out!
I'm working on some new mini books, pins and original art for the occasion and I will be doing caricature there as well

this weekend I am at the Motor City Comic Con. I'm selling books, crafts and prints. I'm also offering Caricatures.

To anyone who picked up my card today and did not find a website...but found this blog...I AM SORRY! The website sadly cannot exist until I have a computer again...when I got the cards and postcards printed I thought this problem would be remedied a lot sooner. whoops...thanks for finding my blog (and stopping by my table at Con)

It's going pretty ok...a bit slow but fun. The post con blues are ALREADY creeping up on me. And I will try and take some photos of stuffs so I'm not always doing type only updates...

Ok, so a little art/non-art update.

To the best of my knowledge I am now part of illustrators graduating from Sheridan. WHOO

Anyways, that explains the lack of updates...I have been pretty batshit insane. losing sleep, making sure things are done..blah blah blah.

so I'm graduated...I'm home with my parents right now...and since I'm still without a computer every kindda has to be on hold. Until I can afford to get a new one i barely have internet access let alone photo and art manipulation tools. Soooo yeah, unless somebody cares to help pay fror a new computer it might be a while until i can post here again.

so i kinda stalled out on the sketchbook for a bit...hopefully it'll flow more easily now. more than half the time i'm doing homework i wish i was just drawing in my sketchbook.
